Kindigirsky national agricultural community of Olekminsky District and Tattinsky District have received tractors, boats, a UAZ vehicle and other transport from Transneft East. The special vehicles were transferred on 27 January during a business visit of the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolayev to Neryungrinsky District.
It should be noted that Transneft East operates phase I of the Eastern Siberia — Pacific Ocean oil trunk pipeline (ESPO-1). More than 2.4 thousand people work in the Company's business units located on the territory of Yakutia. Since 2006, Transneft and Transneft East have provided social institutions, veterans’ and sports organisations of the republic with charity support in the amount of more than 100 million roubles.
“Over the past decade, the oil industry has emerged in the region literally out of nowhere, and today it’s one of the key industries for the economy of the region and of the entire Russian Far East. Transneft East not only achieves high performance indicators and complies with the highest requirements for environmental safety, but also implements large-scale social projects in the territory of Yakutia. I am sure, such assistance will further be provided to our rural areas,” said Aisen Nikolayev.
The means of transport that Transneft East has purchased for the needs of Tattinsky District and Kindigirsky national agricultural community of Olekminsky District include a UAZ vehicle, a food tank truck, a DT-75 tractor, a tractor with a drilling rig, boats and boat motors. The vehicles will be used for emergency recovery work during scouring periods, as well as during preparation for the winter season.
Earlier, within his business visit to Neryungri District, the head of Yakutia met with local bloggers and active citizens. Tomorrow Mr. Nikolaev will visit the Neryungri Central District Hospital and hold meetings on financial and operational activities of the companies Kolmar and Mechel.
