At present, the first stage of revamping the sports facilities of School No. 3 is almost complete in the settlement of Solnechny. The project provides for a comprehensive renovation of the building with a gymnastic area, a workout room, two sports halls, as well as two swimming pools for children and adults. In addition, the utility equipment will also be completely replaced.
Before the construction of the new roof, the builders had to dismantle several layers of the former cover, which fell into disrepair.
"We hope that soon we will be able to use our sports facilities again," said Lyudmila Shurygina, Headmaster of School No. 3. "Then we will again win both regional and international competitions, as our schoolchildren are part of national swimming teams. We are grateful for the support and promise that we will have new great achievements, and every time we will say "thank you" to oil transportation professionals.”
The sports facilities will open their doors not only for schoolchildren, but also for nursery pupils and adult residents of Solnechny.
