Transneft’s Management Visits Baltic Stevedore Company’s Facilities in Kaliningrad Region

On 22 October 2019, a delegation of Transneft, headed by President of the Company Nikolay Tokarev and having First Vice President Maksim Grishanin, Vice Presidents Boris Korol, Pavel Revel-Muroz, Vyacheslav Skvortsov and Rashid Sharipov, as well as Director General of NCSP Sergey Kireev as its members, visited the facilities of Baltic Stevedore Company in Kaliningrad Region.

The members of the delegation examined the operating facilities and the state of port infrastructure. During the meeting, issues and prospects for the development of a container terminal were discussed with the management of NCSP and Baltic Stevedore Company.

Baltic Stevedore Company operates in the sea port of Kaliningrad. BSC’s general cargo specialisation is containers, general (piece) freight, rolling and bulk cargoes. The company ranks 7th among the largest container terminals in the Russian Federation. In 2019, BSC’s share in the container turnover of NCSP Group is 40.4%, that of the ports of Kaliningrad Region is 78%, and its share in the container turnover of the Baltic Basin is 9.8%.
