Employees of Transneft and Transneft subsidiaries have been awarded with departmental and corporate awards in observance of the upcoming Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day, which is celebrated on 01 September this year.
The awarding ceremony took place on 29 August 2019 at the Company's headquarters in Moscow. The awards were presented by Pavel Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Nikolay Tokarev, President of Transneft, and Boris Korol, Vice President of Transneft. The event was attended by First Vice President and Vice Presidents of the Company.
The “Honoured Worker of the Fuel and Energy Sector” titles were awarded to 3 employees, another 15 employees became “Honoured Oil Workers”.
9 employees received diplomas from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Commendations of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation were given to 4 employees.
6 employees were awarded with diplomas of merit from Transneft. Commendations of Transneft were announced to 19 employees.
Employees of Transneft and Transneft subsidiaries, whose photographs were posted on Transneft’s roll of honour, were also congratulated at the ceremony.
During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the winners of the Best in Profession contest among Transneft subsidiaries and prize-winners of the international contest of the same name, in which workers of the main professions of the oil transportation industry competed, representing leading companies involved in the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT).
