We wholeheartedly congratulate Russian bobsleighers Alexander Zubkov and Alexei Voevoda on their glorious victory in the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi! They outperformed the world’s best athletes in all of the four runs. It is noteworthy that during the competition the crew broke the track record twice. We also congratulate the champions in four-men bobsleigh competition – Alexander Zubkov, Alexei Voevoda, Alexei Negodailo and Dmitry Trunenkov on their splendid achievements! Thanks to them, Russia won its first place in this kind of sports for the first time in its history!
The historical victory was also achieved by Alexander Tretyakov who won the Olympic medal – the first gold medal in skeleton for Russia and by Elena Nikitina who became the winner of the first Olympic award in the history of the Russian national women’s team in skeleton.
