Transneft Started Pumping Crude Oil Line Fill into an ESPO Offshoot to Khabarovsk Refinery

Transneft, JSC started pumping crude oil line fill into an Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO) offshoot to the IOGC-Khabarovsk Refinery (part of the Independent Oil and Gas Company).

The line fill started at 4:30 a.m. Moscow time on 14 August.

As expected, upgrading the Khabarovsk Refinery will be finished in 2015. The IOGC management had earlier reported that putting into operation was scheduled for late August – early September. The offshoot capacity will be 6 million tons of oil per annum, but the pipe will be gradually brought to the rated capacity.
