The 15th meeting of the Governing Board of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) was held.
Participating in the meeting held as a videoconference from Transneft were Vice Presidents Sergey Andronov, Boris Korol, Pavel Revel-Muroz, Deputy Vice Presidents Vladimir Kalanda and Yuri Mosolov.
The Association’s annual and audit reports for 2020 were approved; the performance results of the IAOT’s permanent expert groups on energy efficiency, operation, supplies and legal issues were reviewed. The participants discussed preparations of the pilot project of the IAOT Centre of Excellence, as well as the initiative of Transneft to hold round-table talks on digitization in construction on a regular basis.
The IAOT Action Plan for 2021-2022 was updated. It was decided that the international Best in Profession contest would be held at the facilities of Gomeltransneft Druzhba in 2022.
The 16th meeting of the IAOT Governing Board will be held this November in Prague, Czech Republic.
The International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) was established to coordinate the efforts of its members aimed at effective development of their oil transportation systems with the purpose of having a more stable oil transportation.
The IAOT members include MERO C.R., Transneft, TRANSPETROL, Gomeltransneft Druzhba, MOL, KazTransOil, China National Petroleum Corporation, Ukrtransnafta, JANAF. Caspian Pipeline Consortium has an observer status.
