Transneft has become one of the winners at the MediaTEK-2020 contest for the federal and regional media, press services of the FES companies and regional administrations held by the Russian Energy Ministry.
The Company won the first prize in the Social and Environmental Initiative nomination for holding a mass-scale charity volunteer marathon called Helping with Good Deeds.
Transneft was also awarded a special prize by the Expert Board of MediaTEK-2020 “For a comprehensive effort aimed at celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Victory and facilitating the generational bridge to treasure the memory of the Great Patriotic War’s participants” and for implementing a series of projects “75th Anniversary of the Great Victory” and “Transneft: Memory Shift”.
The Company’s corporate television was awarded the second prize in the Best Corporate Media nomination.
The nationwide MediaTEK contest has been held since 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Its goal is to boost the professionalism of energy companies in coverage of their activities, developing projects related to the promotion of occupations in the fuel and energy sector, and raising the role of energy, oil and gas workers.
The Expert Board includes the heads of biggest nationwide business media, the heads of the departments of journalism at Russian higher education institutions, officials and FES experts. The Expert Board is leaded by Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
