On 8 September 2020, President of Transneft Nikolay Tokarev made a business tour of the facilities owned by Transneft Primorsk Port in Leningrad Region.
During the visit, some issues were discussed related to current transportation of oil and petroleum products as well as promising areas in the development of port infrastructure, as part of the development programme embraced by NCSP.
The delegation of Transneft comprising the Company’s President, his deputies and other accompanying persons, examined oil and petroleum products tank farms as well as the mainline pump station undergoing an overhaul to boost the delivery capacity of the Primorsk – Vysotsk PPTP. The delegates also inquired into the course of construction of an oil and petroleum products’ lease automatic custody transfer unit (LACT). During the visit, the test ground of aquaculture facilities as well as berth zones of the port were also examined; the visitors were briefed on the planned revamping of hydraulic engineering structures at berths 3 and 4 that had been damaged by the NORDINDEPENDENCE tanker.
