On 17 December 2019, Mikhail Netesov was appointed General Director of Transneft Primorsk Port.
Earlier he held the position of Deputy General Director for Production and Commerce of Primorsk Commercial Port. Mr Nesterov’s cumulative management experience in oil and petroleum products transshipment organisations exceeds 14 years.
Under his direct supervision, Primorsk Commercial Port has implemented its highly important tasks of maintaining reliable operation in one of the largest oil terminals in Russia, which carries out considerable deliveries to the countries of northern Europe and Scandinavia.
Mikhail Netesov was born in Petropavlovka Village of Ostrogozhsky District in Voronezh Region. He graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Water Communications majoring in Economics and Management (Transport) at Enterprises, as well as from Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Federal University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Oil and Gas Engineering.
