Transneft to Support Russia Hosting Future Leaders Forum of World Petroleum Council

Transneft will provide its sponsorship support for the Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council (WPC), which for the first time will be hosted by Russia in summer 2019.

A relevant agreement has been signed between the Company and the Russian National Committee of WPC.

The 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council — the Future Leaders Forum will be held on 23–28 June 2019 in the city of St. Petersburg.

The World Petroleum Council’s Future Leaders Forum is a prestigious international venue for professional exchange between fledgling specialists of the oil and gas industry. The Forum’s Organising Committee is chaired by Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak.

“Transneft’s participation in organisation of the Forum will help us conduct this international youth event at a high level. The company has unique expertise and extremely rich practical experience in oil and petroleum products pipeline supplies. I am certain that oil and gas rookies coming to the forum from various countries will find it useful and interesting to get acquainted with Transneft operations, its technologies and projects,” commented Director of the World Petroleum Council’s Russian National Committee Vlada Streletskaya after signing the agreement.
