The Board of Directors of Transneft has again elected Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, as its Chairman. He has been holding this position since 2015.
The Board of Directors also elected Maxim Sokolov, former Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, to the Strategy, Investments and Innovations Committee of Transneft.
The Company's Board of Directors consists of 9 persons. Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; Maxim Sokolov, former Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation; Matthias Warnig, Managing Director of Nord Stream 2 AG; Kirill Dmitriev, Director General, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF); Ilya Klebanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovcomflot; Aleksandr Korsik, Chairman of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee under the Board of Directors of Transneft; Nikolay Tokarev, Chairman of the Management Board of Transneft; Genady Shmal, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia; and Valery Shantsev, former Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
