Transneft Upper Volga has launched petroleum tank trunk loading at Nagornaya loading station (LS), Volodarsk District of Moscow Region, in comprehensive testing mode.

The first petroleum tank truck loading at Nagornaya LS’s automated loading system (ALS) was carried out  21 June 2018.  A petroleum tank truck of Gazprom Neft’s filling station chain was loaded with 21.6 tonnes of 95 RON petrol and 15.9 tonnes of 92 RON petrol. The plan calls for loading 1,500 tonnes of each fuel grade till the end of this month.

Upon completion of the comprehensive testing, fuel loading volumes at Nagornaya LS will increase to 4,500 – 5,000 tonnes of 95 RON and 92 RON petrol each month.

A range of test runs is being conducted after Nagornaya LS has been revamped as part of an investment project to increase the volumes of petroleum products transported to Moscow Region.

In the course of Nagornaya LS’s revamping, a mainline pump house, a control room, a tank farm pump house, a new tank truck loading station as well as a petroleum products testing and monitoring laboratory have been built. The set of measures included construction of treatment plants, a production facility, a boiler house and a materials and equipment warehouse as well as revamping the petroleum products storage tank farm. The station’s infrastructure features a range of industrial and fire safety facilities (a fire extinguishing pump house and fire water tanks). Process pipelines, equipment and utility networks have also been replaced.
