Transneft maintains normal relations with its U.S. partners, stated Vice President of the Company Mikhail Margelov.
“We do business as usual with our American partners and this is good,” he said at the end of the meeting at the US-Russia Business Council (USRBC).
Vice President met with representatives of Chevron. In particular, the sides discussed collaboration within the framework of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). Margelov also discussed with Chevrom partners and with Director of Kennan Institute (based in Washington D.C.) Matthew Rojansky the Russian-American Fort Ross Dialogue.
“This Dialogue for us is a unique mechanism of Russian-American business cooperation,” he said, reminding that this year the given forum has for the first time been held in Russia, outside California.
Furthermore, Margelov pointed out that during his current trip he also plans to meet with directors of the American Petroleum Institute.
