Transneft Procurement Plan compliance with the Russian law confirmed

Federal Corporation for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship (SME Corporation) has performed regular monitoring and confirmed that the plan of buying goods, works and services by Transneft complies with requirements of the Russian law.

The analysis of changes entered to the procurement plan of Transneft was done in accordance with the Federal law “On the procurement of goods, works and services by certain types of entities” and the regulation on legal conformity monitoring of approved procurement plans and changes entered thereto, anticipating the participation of small and medium-sized businesses in procurement, in relation to individual customers prioritized by the Russian government.

In accordance with the opinion issued by SME Corporation, the changes entered to the plan of buying goods, works and services by Transneft as per 11 December 2017 comply with requirements of the Russian law which anticipates the involvement of SME businesses, as regards:

- compliance with the requirement about the annual volume of procurement from small and medium-sized businesses;

- conformity of the procurement plan section envisaging procurement from SME businesses to the customer-approved list of goods, works and services to be bought from small and medium-sized businesses.
