On 23-24 August 2017, Transneft President N.P. Tokarev inspected the facilities of Chernomortransneft and then held a meeting in Praskoveevka settlement of the Krasnodar Region to discuss the inspection results and development of trunk pipelines in South Russia.
Transneft Vice President A.N. Sapsay as well as the heads of Transneft subsidiaries – Chernomortransneft, Transneft Volga Region, Transneft PCD, Giprotruboprovod and Transneft Terminal – also took part in the event.
The meeting participants listened to the report of Director General of Transneft PCD V.V. Tsurikov about the delivery of the Yug Project and the project of oil supply to Krasnodar Region’s refineries. Director General of Chernomortransneft A.V. Zlenko and Director General of Transneft Volga Region A.L. Syumak were supporting speakers. The panelists discussed the current stage of the projects and decided to continue their delivery within the timelines set in the Development, Technical Upgrading and Revamping Programme for Transneft trunk pipeline facilities.
It was also planned that the petroleum products pipeline Yug extending from Volgograd refinery via Tinguta and Tikhoretsk to Novorossiysk should be filled with diesel this November so that already in December it would be possible to pump first batches of the petroleum product, as part of performance testing.
