The consolidated financial statements of Transneft, prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the year ending 31 December 2016 have been published on the official website of Transneft in the “For investors and shareholders” section.

Crude oil delivery in the year ending 31 December 2016 amounted to 483.4 million tonnes, up 2.0 million tonnes or 0.4% year-on-year; the oil freight turnover grew by 34.1 bln tonne-km or by 2.9%.

Petroleum products delivery in 2016 reached 33.1 million tonnes.

The Group’s revenue grew by RUB 32.4 bln or by 4.0%, mainly due to growing proceeds from crude oil and petroleum products transportation services.

In 2016, the Group’s EBITDA grew by RUB 37.3 bln or by 10.0%, mainly due to growing proceeds from crude oil and petroleum products transportation services as well as operations expenses reduction.

The following investment projects were completed in 2016:

  • Construction of the Zapolyarye – Purpe oil trunk pipeline;
  • Construction of the Kuyumba – Tayshet oil trunk pipeline (stage 1 – up to 8.6 MTPA);
  • Developing the system of trunk pipelines to ramp up petroleum products deliveries to the port of Primorsk to 15 MTPA (the Sever project);
  • Revamping the approach dam of the Kozmino specialized oil seaport to provide for the approach of tankers with the deadweight of 150,000 tonnes.
