The new high-rise office building of Transneft Kama Region, JSC was officially opened in Kazan on 16 March 2017. The new building is located on a land plot of 11,587 sq. m at 20 Lumumba street in the city centre.
The event was attended by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and the President of Transneft, Nikolay Tokarev.
Mr. Tokarev took the opportunity to praise efficient cooperation between Transneft and Tatarstan, and to thank the President of the Republic for the assistance provided by his government at all stages of the project.
Work on the new offices began in August 2014. Useable floor space on all storeys of the building totals 20,337 sq. m. The building contains 551 offices, the most important of which is the territorial control centre, ensuring management of 25 trunk oil pipelines with total length of over 6,000 km in 11 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The offices are equipped with videoconferencing facilities, which enable interactive audio and video communications between two or more remote parties in real time with capacity for the exchange of information.
Other features include 600 comfortable workplaces, a conference hall with seating for 219 people and latest sound and lighting technologies, a parking lot for 102 vehicles, an underground car park, special parking for the disabled, and a number of other ancillary facilities.
The project was designed by Uraltruboprovodstroyproekt, LLC, a company based in the city of Ufa, which also designed the high-rise building now used by Transneft Far East, LLC in the city of Khabarovsk.
The former offices of Transneft Kama Region at 26 Yershova street will remain in use by other structural divisions of the company separately located in Kazan.
