Participating in the event were the Company’s vice presidents Sergey Andronov, Boris Korol, Aleksey Sapsay, as well as chief executives of Transneft subsidiaries: Chernomortransneft, Transneft Volga Region, Transneft PCD, and Giprotruboprovod.

Discussed during the meeting were matters of Transneft investments in the region, including the progress of the Yug investment project.

The purpose of the Yug project is diesel transportation over pipeline section Samara – Volgograd – Tikhoretsk – Novorossiysk down to the port of Novorossiysk in the amount of up to 11 million tonnes a year. Planned as part of the project are the construction of pipelines for the length of 1,434 km as well as the construction and revamping of 19 pump stations with total tank farm capacity reaching 90,000 m3.

There are three phases of this project, Yug-1, Yug-2, and Yug-3, with consecutive commissioning of facilities until 2020.

The Yug investment project is part of the Transneft long-term development programme until 2020.
