Project objective: increase in the volumes of export of diesel fuel from 8.5M tons to 25M tons per year through the port of Primorsk.
Project is implemented on the basis of the General scheme of oil industry development in the Russian Federation till 2020 approved by the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation No. 212 dated June 6, 2011.
The first stage of the Sever project anticipates an increase in diesel exports up to 15 million tonnes a year. As part of the project, construction of 15 km of the pipeline’s linear portion was accomplished, along with the construction of four PS, revamping of 14 PS, and construction of a 110,000-m3 tank farm. The project was completed in 2016.
Within the scope of the second implementation stage of the Sever project, provision is made for an increase in the volumes of export of diesel fuel to 25M tons per year. Within the scope of the project, the following operations are planned: construction of 183 km of the linear part of the pipeline and 4 PS as well as reconstruction of 7 PS and construction of tanks with the capacity of 10 thousand cubic meters. Completion of the project is planned for 2018.
